This report outlines data equity principles that provide a framework for a shift in thinking about how equity-mindedness throughout the entire data life cycle can shape and create more equitable data systems. It also summarizes the application of a set of health equity principles, consistent with what is currently being considered in the field, to each stage in the public health data life cycle.
