28 full-time and six part-time AmeriCorps members will build capacity and support for Community Health Departments (CHDs) and Free and Charitable Clinics (FCCs) throughout Wisconsin. The AmeriCorps members will help CHDs and FCCs combat the COVID-19 pandemic, address the worsening opioid crisis, strengthen telehealth capabilities, secure grant funding, and procure volunteers.
